“Get off me!” Kaluga roared, heaving at the devil but to no avail, the creature was just too powerful. All he could do was watched as its lips crept ever closer to his and in desperation, he grabbed its head, jamming his thumbs into its eyes. The devil let out a shriek and scrambled backward, pawing at its face, as Kaluga rolled and scrabbled to escape. The creature was faster however and grabbed his foot, pulling him back and straddling, pinning his hands in its paws. Chapter One
The sun's rays kissed my sticky skin as I ran barefoot through the tall patches of dying grass, sharp blades reaching out and scratching my body. I was running, like I always was.
